Welcome to the home of Little Stars Daycare ~ A home-based childcare facility located in Camarillo, California. At Little Stars Daycare, we focus on making friends, new discoveries and learning while providing children the comfort and security that is essential in a daycare environment, thus making the transition from home easier on the child and the parents.

My name is Jeanne Boxley and I have been providing quality childcare for over 16 years! I have 4 kids of my own, ages 21, 17, 15 and 13. I started my adventure into childcare almost by accident. I had been employed as a dental assistant while pregnant with my second daughter. After my 6 weeks of maternity leave, and many months of looking, I was unable to find quality, trustworthy childcare for my 6 week old daughter. I asked my employer for an additional 2 weeks, then 2 more and then 2 more, until eventually I decided I wasn't ready to leave her in the kind of "center" environment I was finding. A friend of mine was also in the same situation so I "temporarily" agreed to watch her child, figuring I'd be back in the orthodontic field in no time! I found that not only was childcare stimulating and fun, but that I could also spend quality time with my own children... and so, Little Stars Daycare was born!  |

Little Stars Daycare utilizes a brand new 250sqft secure room as the main playroom and learning area for the children. This provides the children with a welcoming and bright atmosphere the children adore! I also have a large, fully-accessible backyard which is completely fenced-in for privacy and security. There is room to ride the tricycles as well as a play-fort/swing structure, and lots of room to run! I provide healthy meals and snacks for the children. My hours are 7:30am-5:30pm, M-F. Little Stars Daycare also provides a pre-school program for 2-4 year olds on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week, as well as transportation to many of the local pre-schools and elementary schools for older children in my care. I have a safety-checked 15 passenger van that we use to do school pick-ups and that we take on our many field trips. I can provide car seats for all the children who require them as needed. Trips to the park, library, etc., are weekly adventures at Little Stars Daycare. During the summer and school breaks, we expand our horizons by visiting the beach, SB zoo, Gull Wings museum, Ty Warner Sea Center and other great destinations!!
